Landscape designer Tom Massey and architect Je Ahn celebrated water as our most vital resource in their gold medal-winning WaterAid Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024. The WaterAid Garden addressed the challenges of a changing climate, with a strong focus on sustainable water management. It featured a vibrant mix of plant species suited to varying levels of rainfall, along with reclaimed and repurposed materials chosen to reduce the garden’s carbon footprint. The structure captured and filtered every drop of rain, storing it for drinking and irrigation, while also slowing water flow and offering shade. Haysom Purbeck Stone supplied the Purbeck Rockery and salvaged ashlar used for seating and structural elements throughout the garden.
