About Us

We are specialists in Purbeck Stone.

Our Company is based in the heart of Purbeck, at the east end of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset. Our five quarries yield an unrivaled range of fourteen different building stones. Our two fully-equipped masonry workshops allow us to undertake stonemasonry using both traditional hand-tools and contemporary machinery and technology. 

Our company celebrated its centenary in 2019, and we are proud to continue the ancient traditions and contemporary expertise of the local quarrying and stonemasonry industry. We are proud to supply Purbeck Stone for local building and landscaping projects, as well as to most of the English cathedrals, many churches, some royal houses, and large office buildings throughout the UK and to other prestigious projects in Europe, the US and Japan. 

We have won numerous awards for our work, including recently from the Civic Trust, the Richmond Society and the Natural Stone Awards.
